We don't collect personal identifiable data without your explicit consent. Exceptions to that rule can be made temporarily for legitimate legal reasons, in security-heavy contexts, in order to mitigate cyber attacks such as DDOS. Even then, data is discarded as soon as it stops being meaningful.
(No!) cookies
We deliberately refrain from using cookies or any similar technology that may lead to the collection or processing of personally identifiable information and we don't allow third-party cookies to run on our domains. The analytics tools that we use (Plausible, Medama, Cloudflare) are privacy-focused, anonymizing IPs and discarding any raw data within 24 hours.
Third parties
We never sell whatever data we may have in our posession at any point. If we are required to give it to authorities under clearly established law or regulation, if terms of use were not broken, we will do a best-effort to push back through available means and, if legally allowed, we will disclose the request.
Removal
We may have data that you consented to give us, such as your name, workplace and e-mail needed to tailor a personalized newsletter. That data will be gone on short notice after you hit unsubscribe. Just to make sure, you can always drop us a line requesting this, at privacy@romania.st
